In fact several (seven?) demo showcases are installed under the showcase menu so that people can have a quick SP experience of the features of the ALiVE mod. As per the OP and my post - the showcase mission is installed when the ALiVE mod is installed. I am aware that the showcase did not come from BIS. If you are using the ALiVE mod in a Showcase mission, then that mission did not come from BIS. None of the official BIS Showcase scenarios, Missions, or Campaigns, or any of their online servers, include mods.
